Is it time for you to renew your passport? United States Department of State has just made that process easier. A new online renewal system that has been in beta for the past two months goes live today.
Users will be guided through a series of questions to determine if they are eligible. In order to renew online, passport holders must live in the United States and been expired less than five years. Although this will be more convenient, we should not expect it to change processing times per Deputy Secretary of State Richard Verma. More information can be found at Travel.state.gov.
